Ekta Kapoor’s digital company ALTBalaji will soon be launching a thriller web series titled ‘Ragini MMS 2.2’, adapted from the horrex film franchise, Ragini MMS.
As per the news, “Ekta has zeroed in on the actress who will play Ragini in the web series tentatively titled Ragini MMS 2.2. and it is Karishma Sharma, who was seen in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2.”
After scorching the Internet with her bikini pictures, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ actress Karishma Sharma is gearing up for her big break. The gal has bagged the lead role of Ragini in sexy and thriller based web-series Ragini MMS 2.2.
In an interview, Karishma Sharma confirmed to us that she is a part of the web-series. “Yes, I am playing Ragini. However, I cannot disclose more at this moment,” she said.
Featuring Riya Sen as Simran and Sharma as Ragini, the story will revolve around the lives of the two protagonists, who witness an unforgettable haunting at an old, abandoned college and run after the scandalous MMS CD that is said to have all the dark secrets, fighting the bizarre energy that surrounds them.” The show has some eye-popping instances and unknown twists.
The shoot has already started. This is going to be a web debut for both the actresses. Riya who is essaying the role of a married woman in the series has started attending workshops to prepare for her role. With Karishma being a known name due to her sensational pictures, we are sure the series will get a head-start.
