Mrunal Thakur is one of the few actresses who have made an impact on television and is transitioning well in films.

She recently shared a picture from her childhood on her Instagram profile, where she is seen standing next to her elder sister Lochan Thakur.

Lochan is dressed like the queen of Jhansi for a fancy dress competition which Mrunal recalls, she won.

The actress looks too cute in a frock as she is staring at the camera with her puppy eyes, supporting her sister.

On the work front, Mrunal has recently started shooting for Karan Johar’s segment in the Netflix anthology horror film ‘Ghost Stories’.

After a successful seven year stint at television, Mrunal made her film debut in 2018 with ‘Love Sonia’, where her performance of a sex traffic victim received praises.

She was last seen in Nikhil Advani’s action thriller film ‘Batla House’, along side John Abraham.

Mrunal has also confirmed to play queen Sivagami in the the web series ‘Baahubali: Before the Beginning’, which is a prequel to the Baahubali films.

She is also currently filming for Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s sports film ‘Toofan’, co-starring Farhan Akhtar.
