Sriti Jha is an Indian television actress, who appears in an Indian soap opera. She started her career with the role of Malini Sharma in Disney India’s teen drama “Dhoom Machaao Dhoom”. She rose to the popularity with the show “Jyotion”, where she played the role of Sudha Sharma. She is currently playing the lead role of Pragya in Zee TV’s Popular show Kumkum Bhagya.

Now, Sriti will be seen playing a village girl ‘Munni’, where she will be wearing ghaghra-cholis.
Talking about her new character ‘Munni’, is an orphan and once lived with her sister and jiju, until they both died in a road accident leaving Munni with their 2 kids. Munni now takes care of them by selling Kumkum, chudiya, bindiya.
About her new look, Pragya said, “Kumkum Bhagya is so close to my heart. I started missing Pragya the moment I shot the death scene. I am extremely nervous about playing Munni. It’s a fun opportunity. I hope we, as a team, are able to bring alive the character convincingly and continue to entertain our audiences.”
