An Indian theater, Bollywood and television actress Aahana Kumra says that Naseeruddin Shah played a huge role in her career. She is very well known for her small screen debut in the Sony Entertainment Television show titled ‘Yudh’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan. She also played the lead role in the television series Agent Raghav-Crime Branch along with the actor Sharad Kelkar. Aahana rose the popularity from her movie ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, which was directed by Alankrita Shrivastava. The movie features Ratna Pathak Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aahana Kumra, Plabita Borthakur in the lead, whereas supporting roles played by Vikrant Massey, Sushant Singh, Shashank Arora, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Jagat Singh Solanki.
Aahana says that legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah is her mentor and he has played a huge role in her career. She started her career under the guidance of the actor Naseeruddin and she is currently working with him in a play titled ‘The Father’
Aahana shares a great bond with the actor Naseeruddin and she says he has always helped her whenever she is in doubt and he has always protected her like a father. She has even shared her first screen space with him in the movie ‘The Blueberry Hunt’, but she said that if given an opportunity she would love to share the screen again with him. She said that he is a phenomenal actor and he has so much of zeal towards the Indian cinema that whenever she is with him she got to learn so much about it. It’s her dream to share the screen with the veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah again.
