Athiya Shetty, who is gearing up for her second film “Mubarakan” which is an upcoming Romantic Comedy Film. The story will revolve around Couple Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, they will play uncle-nephew in the film. “Mubarakan” directed by Anees Bazmee stars Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty in lead roles.
Athiya recalls the horrific note on which the film began for her. On the very first day of the shoot, she lost her grandfather. On this actress said,”It was my first day of the shoot and we were in a place where there was no network. When I went back to the hotel in the evening, I found out that my grandfather had passed away. But I had to shoot the next day. I feel that my grandpa gave me the strength. He had been unwell many times during the last year but did not want me to be here when he left us. He went away happy that I was shooting because he always wanted me to be working. It was a tough time but everybody on the sets was very comforting and supportive, whether it was Anees Bazmee, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, or Ileana D’Cruz.”
Talking about the movie, where Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing a double role, one of them wears a turban and the other does not. Anil Kapoor seems to be having a lot of fun in the company of the two boys. Charanveer and Karanveer that is their names, play the role of Anil Kapoor’s nephews. While Charanveer appears to be a simpleton, on the other hand, Karanveer looks like a brat. Both the Bhatijas are clearly up to no good along with their Chacha, played by real life Chacha Anil Kapoor.
The ‘Mubarakan‘ movie is scheduled to be released on 28 July 2017.
