An Indian actress Kriti Kharbanda says that she can not afford to do the women-centric movie just now. Recently, actress Kriti is gearing up for her upcoming comedy movie titled ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana‘ which is directed by Ratnaa Sinha and produced by Vinod Bachchan. The movie features Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead. In this movie, actor Rajkummar Rao will be seen essaying the role of a boy-next-door.
An actress Kriti says that though she wants, she can not indulge in the idea of a women-centric movie right now in her career. When asked the actress that does she likes to play a protagonist in a women-centric movie? On this, Kriti replied that right now she does not want to indulge herself in the women-centric movie because she feels that she is not as famous as she wishes to be and moreover, she says that she is not having an ability to pull the audience to the theater.
However, she says that if they are asking as an artist and that too with a good story and she believes that it is a lucrative thing to act in a woman-centric film. She says that she does not want her producers to suffer because of her creative satisfaction. If she has to do in the South then she can do it and that too especially in the Kannada film industry. She believes that she is popular enough in the South to do a women-centric movie over there.
Kriti was born and brought up in the Delhi and later she moved to Bengaluru after finishing her high school. She was always having a stint as a model before debuting as an actress in a Telugu movie. She made her career in the Bollywood film industry with a movie titled ‘Guest In London’. Now, she working along with the National Award winning actor Rajkummar Rao in her upcoming comedy movie titled ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’, which released today.
She thinks that she has learned how to be a good co-actor after working along with Rajkummar Rao. Many a time she had heard most of the people saying how is a Rajkummar in the movie, there are people who only watch him in the frame and he can actually overshadow others in the movie. Moreover, Kriti said that Rajkummar is a such a fabulous co-actor and he will always let his other co-actor to act their best because acting also has a lot depending on reacting.
When asked that who all are the director she wants to work with? She said that there a lot of directors she wants to work but if she has to name a few then surely it would be Sriram Raghavan, Imtiaz Ali, and Karan Johar. She would like to work with the directors who all are offering her a great role in their movie. As far as her co-actors are concerned she believes that whether it is Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh or Ranbir Kapoor everyone has a different way of working and if she gets an opportunity she would like to work with each one of them. Working with them means that she will be getting a chance to embrace some of their qualities so she would love to work with all of them.
