Earlier, the shooting of the movie titled ‘Dhadak‘ was in rife when the shoot was stalled after a police complaint which has been lodged against the movie’s unit head. However, the team of the Dhadak says that they did not shoot on the Friday as the director of the movie was not feeling well.
The shooting of the upcoming movie ‘Dhadak’ features the Ishaan Khatter and Jhanvi Kapoor and both of them was stalled in Jaipur, on Friday. That has been done because of the protest which was done by some of the local residents.
However, a police complaint was lodged by the against the unit of the movie and that has been done because some part of the Ambikeshwar Mahadev Temple were supposedly damaged. During the shooting of the movie, which was taking place at the Jagat Shiromani Temple and Panna Meena Ka Kund and the crew had parked the vanity vans and they have installed their tents near to the Ambikeshwar Mahadev Temple and one of locale had lodged a complaint against the unit of the movie.
The complaint has been done because of their van hits the Chhajja of the temple and with that, it got damaged. However, the locales of the Jaipur city says that they are not having a problem with them shooting in Jaipur but they do not have any right to damage the historical places and the temples. That is the reason why that man has submitted a police complaint against the film unit head for damaging the historical property at the Amer Police Station.
On Thursday, both the actor Ishaan Khatter and Jahnvi Kapoor were spotted shooting the Holi sequence and that for a song near to the Panna Meena Ka Kund. The news agencies have tried connecting with the producer of the movie but he did not answer the phone call.
Sources close to the production house says that the shooting of the movie has been canceled on Friday but they cited the movie’s director Shashank Khaitan’s poor health to be the reason behind the cancellation of the shoot. When the reporters spoke to the Narendra Kumar, SHO, Amer Police Station he said that it was a non-cognizable offence and he has even clarified that now the matter has been resolved and the compensation has been given to the authorities of the temple by the concerned people. Now the matter has been sorted out.
The movie ‘Dhadak’ is said to be directed by Shashank Khaitan and will be produced by Karan Johar. The movie features Jahnvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in the lead. The movie is said to be an official remake of a Marathi blockbuster movie ‘Sairat’, which was a love story that was set against the backdrop of casteism in rural areas of Maharashtra. The movie features Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar in the lead.
The movie ‘Dhadak’ is all set to release on July 6, next year.
