No permission has been given to the Bollywood actress Sunny Leone‘s event by the Karnataka government. There is a move that encourages the right-wing group and an arm-twisting politics, but the government of the Karnataka refused the permission to allow the actress Sunny Leone to perform at an event on the eve of New year in Bengaluru.
Home Minister of Karnataka, Ramalinga Reddy has backed all the claims that have been made by the members of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, which has alleged that allowing Sunny to perform in the city that posed a threat to Kannada culture.
He has told the police commissioner that not to give the permission for Sunny Leone event and they have taken the permission to conduct a programme which has let them hold the cultural activities like the music, or the Bharatnatyam dance not the Sunny’s performance.
Moreover, he has added that the organizers can even go ahead with the event as planned earlier so long they take out the performance of Sunny from the schedule. The pr-Kannada along with the other groups in the Karnataka had been opposing the upcoming event ‘Sunny Night in Bengaluru NYE 2018’ which was going to be performed by the actress Sunny Leone, but the event has been for the past several days now.
On Friday, the protestors in the Bengaluru stepped up with the member of Karnataka Rakshana Vedika Yuva Sene and they have even burnt the posters of Sunny Leone. However, they all claim that they are very well aware of her history and she did not represent the Indian culture.
However, the demonstrators have alleged that the Sunny’s performance would pave way for the sexual misconduct among the public. We all have seen that what happened at MG road and Bridge Road on 31st December last year. They feel that bringing the people like Sunny Leone to Bengaluru will only be going to corrupt the mind of men and women and can even lead them to behave in an inappropriately.
The organizers of the show have tried hard to make the protestors understand that by saying that the New Year bash had been planned by keeping in the mind all the sensibilities of the Kannada people. The organizer said that he himself is a Kannada people and he has ensured that the standard of the show is a representative of Bengaluru’s culture.
Sources reveal that actress Sunny Leone has got a plenty of offers to dance on the New York’s evening but she chose to come here in the Bengaluru and Hyderabad as they are her favorite places. Moreover, the organizer said that they are very well aware that it is a family programme and the culture of the state is not being disrespected.
