Sanjay Leela Bhansali is an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter, and music director. Sanjay is the recipient of several awards, including four National Film Awards and ten Filmfare Awards. He even honored with the Padma Shri in 2016, by the Government of India.
According to the recent reports, Sanjay will soon be launching Jaaved Jaaferi’s son Meezaan under his home banner Bhansali Productions. Meezaan has worked as an assistant director on Bhansali’s “Bajirao Mastani.” Meezaan has trained in theater acting and martial arts.
Meezaan has given audition for the role and after that producer, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was happy to see that not only he is a good dancer but he is a great actor as well. The film produced by Bhansali Productions and Mahaveer Jain and will be directed by Mangesh Hadawale. The title has not been revealed as of yet.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is busy with his upcoming movie “Padmavati”, which is an Indian period drama film. The film features Deepika Padukone in the title role as Rani Padmini, alongside Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Aditi Rao Hydari. Where Shahid plays her on-screen husband and Ranveer Singh will be seen as Alauddin Khilji. The movie is all set to release on 17 November 2017.
