‘Kedarnath‘ is an upcoming Bollywood movie, which is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and which will be produced by Ekta Kapoor and KriArj Entertainment. The movie features Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role. Director Abhishek Kapoor made his directorial debut with the 2006 movie ‘Aryan’. Later in 2008, he wrote and directed the blockbuster movie titled “Rock On”, which was an Indian Rock musical film starring Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal and for the movie he won the National Award for the Best Hindi Film. In 2013, he made a movie titled “Kai Po Che”, which was based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel. He even launched his promotion company Guy in the Sky pictures with the vision to create exciting content and tell stories which he believes in.
According to the latest reports, the movie will begin to shoot on September 3 near Dehradun. The pre-production of the film has already begun. Bollywood Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh reveals the date on his Twitter account by saying, “#Kedarnath stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan… Shoot starts 3 Sept 2017… Summer 2018 release.”

About his upcoming movie, Abhishek said, “This coalition of producing partners has added tremendous value to our film, and we are grateful and excited to have their backing.” The movie ‘Kedarnath’ is said to be a love story which has been set against the holy temple town of Kedarnath. The filmmakers of the movie are planning to release the movie in summer 2018.
About the same Abhishek Kapoor said, “‘Kedarnath’ is a very prestigious film. It’s a love story set in the land of Shiva, of whom, I am the strong believer. My devotion towards Lord Shiva is utmost and this further makes this film very special.”
About the movie, producer Ekta Kapoor said, “The film is an emotional and riveting story set in India’s heartland, where raw romance unfolds amidst the beauty of Kedarnath.” The movie “Kedarnath” will be the second collaboration between Sushant Singh Rajput and Abhishek Kapoor. Earlier director Abhishek Kapoor has given the break to the actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the Bollywood with the movie Kai Po Che!.
The film “Kedarnath” is expected to release in June 2018.
