Bollywood Production house Yash Raj Films has named Aadar Jain (grandson of late actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor) and Anya Singh as their new actors. Watch their launching videos shared by the Twitter page of YRF.

The duo was introduced by actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in a special event held at Yash Raj Studios yesterday. See pictures from the event here:
Anushka Sharma introduced Anya Singh. While doing so, Anushka got nostalgic and spoke about her journey as an actor. She said, “I am here to introduce to you a brand new actor. This is quite a special feeling for me because through this I got to reflect on my own career in cinemas so far, as an outsider in the film industry. When I got my first film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan, to be produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF), and directed by Aditya Chopra, I didn’t realise what a big deal it was at that time.”
She said, “Because I didn’t have a legacy to live up to or any sense of familiarity to how cinema works whatsoever, I feel like it gave me determination and confidence that has definitely helped me to be here and enabled my journey so far.”
Ranbir, while introducing Aadar, said, “When I was a newcomer in the film industry, many people gave me a lot of advice. But I guess you have to make your own journey. Until he doesn’t fall, he won’t know how to stand up. Until he doesn’t see his first success, he won’t be able to relish it.”
Both of them have worked together for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil where Aadar was an assistant director to Karan Johar. Ranbir said, “I used to ask Aadar to say Aishwarya’s lines while I was getting ready for my sequences. That way I used him, but it helped him too. I would tell him to either say the lines with more emotions or an expression. I used to make him enact Aishwarya’s scenes too”.
Newcomer Anya revealed that she wants to work with actor Ranveer Singh. “When I saw Band Baaja Baarat, I became his fan. I find him very relatable,” she added. Anushka said, “Ranveer met her backstage now and called her ‘beta’. And I was like ‘did you just say beta’?”
