I guess one can say that the popular game show, we have almost always associated Kaun Banega Crorepati with Amitabh Bachchan’s deep baritone voice and his charisma and catchphrases like “Lock kiya jaye?”. Even Shah Rukh Khan tried to maintain the voice and style but miserably failed during that season. So can you imagine an actress getting into Big B’s shoes? Well, this might just come true.
This time the tables have turned around and female celebrity have been brought on the front foot to host the quiz show which is based on UK show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
Kaun Banega Crorepati is synonymous with Amitabh Bachchan. After all, he’s been hosting the show for many years now. Whenever, he’s been replaced by any other star, the show has received an underwhelming response.
But it seems the makers have approached a few other Bollywood superstars to host the ninth season. According to the reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Madhuri Dixit will be considered to host the game show. Yes, that’s right. Apparently, along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the producers are also in talks with Madhuri Dixit.
I guess we will have to wait and see who makes it to the other side of the hot seat.
