Morgan Stanley Research has stated that United States’ 12 new states might legalize gambling soon.
It expects to get this done in the first half of the year 2021 itself.
The research done by Thomas Allen, Michael M DeLalio and Ed Young also stated that the number could reach 35 by the end of the year 2021.
They wrote in their research : “Notably, there are 6 Governors who have publicly asked their legislatures to pass laws, 3 states whose citizens have passed referenda, and in the remaining states bills that have already been filed.”
As per CalvinAyre.com, they further wrote, “While there are always opportunities for states to host special sessions in the fall, many will look to pass bills and budgets earlier, moving forward the catalyst,”.
States such as Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Texas are also contemplating legalization of gambling as the there have been shortfalls in the revenue due to coronavirus.
