This Christmas seems dull for European countries as the COVID-19 cases continue to mount.

Due to growing number of corona virus cases, governments around the world are passing directives for the suspension of the operations of non-essential businesses.

Government owned Holland Casino and European casino operator Cyprus seem to be traveling on the same boat as both of them have suspend their operations temporarily

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced that all non essential business shall be closed down till January 19, 2021. This makes it a third time for the closure of Holland Casino since March 2020 lockdown.

Due to same reasons, Cyprus Casinos, a subsidiary of Melco Resorts & Entertainment, announced that it has suspended its operations till December 31,2020 due to rising COVID-19 cases.

According to Gambling Insider, Cyprus Casinos manages four venues: C2 Limassol, C2 Nicosia, C2 Ayia Napa and C2 Paphos and all of them would be under temporary closure.
