The Crown Resorts was allowed the grant of interim liquor license by the New South Wales Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority (ILGA) few days ago.

The approval of liquor license for Crown’s Barangaroo casino comes after the operator had to face serious hurdles at its opening due to pending investigations against it.

After a series of lawsuits, this comes as good news for the Crown Sydney.

A report by Gambling Insider stated that ILGA is also considering allowing two liquor licenses for other non-gaming areas of the casino according to announcement done by ILGA chair Philip Crawford.

Pending Berlin inquiry, the end date for the interim license is 30 April 2021, after which the ILGA would reconsider the extension of license.
