DFNN, the electronic gaming operator in Philippines as received the permission to start gambling operations in the country.
DFNN expanded its license to start offering online gambling and betting options to people of Philippines.
In a new policy focused upon giving gambling licenses to local firms of Philippines, DFNN became the first operator to receive online gambling license.
Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) issued the license to DFNN.
According to report by CalvinAyre, DFNN CEO Calvin Lim said:“the new InPlay.ph online casino will be limited to VIP players only, at least to start, with strict know-your-customer protocols to ensure locals have the necessary wherewithal to responsibly enjoy online gambling from the comfort of home.”
The gambling operators who have the permits under Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) are not allowed to accept bets from the local residents of Philippines. However, succumbing to financial pressure induced by COVID and harsh govt. policies, the PAGCOR decided to restructure the gambling operations by allowing the POGO licensees to accept bets from local residents.
