The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has banned Venezuelan tennis player Roberto Maytín for 14 years.

The player was banned after he admitted to the charges of breaching Tennis Anti-Corruption Program (TACP) rules.

Maytin who had a highest Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) doubles ranking of 86 in 2015, was also served a fine of $100,000 (£72,500).

The player has also been banned coaching at, or otherwise attending any tennis event sanctioned by the governing bodies.

The ITIA is an independent body that aims to promote, encourage, enhance and safeguard the integrity of professional tennis worldwide imposed the fine and the ban.
