The Dutch Gaming Authority, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), has imposed fines worth €600,000 ($734,952) on a digital gaming firm.

Virtual Coin Gaming NV in Curaçao had allegedly been offering offering of illegal online games of chance on its websites www.futgalaxy.nl and nl.futgamer.com.

For the said illegal offerings of online games, the KSA has imposed a fine of €500,000 on the company.

As per Gambling Insider, an unnamed individual has been fined €100,000.

The KSA stated that the fine is huge in number because the websites targeted young Dutch natives by using Dutch language.

The online games of chance being banned in the country of Netherlands, there is no possibility of acquiring any sort of license for the said activity.

Notably, the country is set to regulate its iGaming market very soon by introducing the Remote Gambling Act this year.

Licences for online games of chance will be made available, but operators must meet strict conditions regarding player protection, noted Gambling Insider.
