It has been reported that after the IPL the entire squad of team India will be travelling altogether on their tour of Australia. The role of selectors has been highlighted here as they will choose the squad for 4 Tests, 3 T20s and 3 ODIs altogether so that the team can leave with the entire squad.

With this it is expected around 30 players from team India will be landing at the same time in Australia. This will ease in controlling and making a bio-secure bubble more optimistic and on the other hand through the government of New South Wales now the teams can indulge in practice sessions during the quarantine.

Sydney will be the first landing spot for Team India for limited over cricket as it kicks off on 27th of November. The test series will begin on the 17th of December.

According to a statement issued by a BCCI official, the tests specialist such as Cheteshwar Pujaeri and Vihari are and should be ready to travel to Dubai anytime from now.

The official further added that they will hugely benefit with the idea of carrying all the three Indian teams together as they will be able to practice together during the quarantine period. It is least expected that the players of limited over cricket will stay back for test and as result players such as Pujara and Vihari need to pad on and practice as much as they because they not been a part of international cricket from a long time.

Keeping in mind that the NCA cannot be crowded as there is no domestic cricket in India for at least the next 2 months.

Time running out for Ishant Sharma

Ishant Sharma is one of the two players who could miss the tour due to his rib injury which took place in the IPL. However, he had travelled to the NCA but is unlikely to be fit for the tour. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the second player who likely to miss the tour.

Hardik Pandya Doubtful

The star allrounder is being closely monitored by the BCCI as after the injury he has not been bowling in the IPL. The selectors will be in a doubt to choose Pandya or not.
