Consumers can invite their friends to shop with PayPal across the 200 markets.

Narsi Subramanian, Director of International Spends & Sole Proprietors when asked about the idea of these campaigns said “India is the 2nd largest freelancer market outside of the US. India is also a hub for software exports hence software and web rated services constitute a significant portion of the freelancing business. Additionally, skilled women who have taken a break from their careers to manage the house or children and retired professionals also contribute to this growing number in India”.

According to PayPal both these campaigns will aim at driving engagement through familiarity. The ‘Go Global’ and ‘Shopping Buddy’ will focus on the social and digital platforms and will be live until August 2017.
