LG is playing big to attain their lost flagship smartphone share. Their latest flagship smartphone, the LG V30, that features the best cameras on any smartphone now comes with a new offer. If you buy an LG V30 in the US, the company will include a complimentary New Day Dream VR headset with the retail package. The bundle will also include VR content package made for free of cost.
As a matter of fact, the new Day Dream VR will alone cost around $150 (INR 18,000) rupees. If you are unaware of the LG V30, here is the brief description of the same.
LG V30 offers a slightly curved QHD OLED display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core SoC, paired with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 256 GB). The LG V30 is IP68 certified against the dust and water resistance. The device also complies with the MIL-STD 810G military standard.
In terms of camera capability, the V30 features dual-rear camera setup. The main sensor offers a 16 MP with F/1.6 aperture (widest in any mobile) with a secondary sensor featuring a 13 MP wide-angle shooter with F/1.9 aperture. The cameras on the V30 supports cinematic video visuals with native 4K video recording capability. On the front, the device packs a 5 MP wide-angle selfie shooter with 1080p video recording capability.
In terms of connectivity, the device will either feature dual or single SIM slot (depending on the market) with 4G LTE and VoLte capability. In terms of operating system, the device runs on Android Nougat with custom UI on the top an expected update to Android Oreo before the end of 2017. The device also offers Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and Qi-based wireless charging capability. The 3300 mAh Li-ion battery does support fast charging via USB type C port.
