It looks like HMD Global is working on an entry level Android smartphone. The recent leak suggests that the company is planning to launch an entry level Nokia 2 Android smartphone featuring massive 4000 mAh battery.

The Nokia 2 is expected to feature 5-inch HD display, featuring an entry level Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC, paired with 1.25 GHz processor with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB or 16 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated SD card slot (up to 128 GB).

The mobile is expected to feature 4G LTE and VoLte capability with dual SIM card slot. The phone will also feature WiFi, Bluetooth and WiFi Hotspot as well. The device might offer even NFC as well. In terms of operating system, the device might feature Android Nougat or Android Oreo without any third party customisation. The device might be priced under $99 or INR 6,000 or lesser.

However, the device won’t offer premium features like finger print scanner, fast charging capability or metal build.
