Panasonic India, the India based smartphone brand launches a new affordable entry-level Android smartphone in India. The Panasonic P99 priced at INR 7490 will be available in India in Blue, Black and Champagne colour pain job with a plastic body and available across the country via Panasonic brand stores and offline retail outlets.

The device offers a 5-inch HD 720p IPS LCD screen with a tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the device features a MediaTek MTK6737 Quad-Core SoC, paired with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card (up to 128 GB). In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte on either of the slots, however, like every other smartphone, one can only use a single 4G active network at a time.

On to the optics, the device is equipped with an 8 MP rear-facing camera with single tone single LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera with a wide-angle lens. Both the cameras can record native 720p HD videos without any stutter.

The Panasonic P99 is powered by a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery with normal charging capability via micro USB port. The device also supports USB OTG, which means one can connect dongles and pen drives with a help of a OTG connector.
