Donald Trump, the US President has said that he would not refrain himself from using social media. According to him, the medium of interaction keeps him updated with the views and suggestions from his fans. Off late, he has been criticised over the excessive use of social media and his tweets targeting media and opponents.

“Only the Fake News Media and Trump enemies want me to stop using Social Media,” the US President said on Tuesday in a tweet, suggesting that it is the only way for him to “get the truth out”, Xinhua news agency reported. The latest tweet came a day after John Kelly was appointed as new chief of staff at the white house. Kelly,

Kelly, the former secretary of homeland security, was tapped to restore order to the chaotic White House and push forward a policy agenda amid a series of West Wing shake-ups and infighting.

Donald Trump has been very active on social media sites, especially Twitter. Since his win as the US president in 2016, he has tweeted multiple times, lashing out on the critics which claimed a possible connection between Trump’s election campaign and the Russian government. Along with that, Trump also keeps tweeting about how the media is portraying him in a bad light.

There were speculations about Trump limiting the use of Social media after appointing Kelly as the new chief of staff.
