There are a lot of questions on who will be the India’s next head coach. Kumble’s responsible actions in the last few days have made his side stronger and it may be possible that he will remain at the post while Virender Sehwag and Tom Moody are other favourite candidates.
However, before going to London on 23rd May, Virat Kohli had a talk with two members of Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman regarding the consideration of Ravi Shastri’s name for the post of head coach. He also asked them to invite Ravi Shastri for the interview process. However, he himself did not apply for the coach’s job so will not be allowed to give the interview.
For now, the interview process, which was to be conducted on Wednesday has been delayed and can be either on Thursday or on Friday. CAC wil take the interview of all six candidates seperately and will take the decision later.
