PSEB (Punjab School Education board) has released the result of class 10th board exams held from 15th March-2nd April, 2019. The result has been released by the board at 11:30 am today. The result is not yet released online but will be on air soon tonight.
Neha Verma, a student of Teja Singh Sutantar School at Ludhiana is declared the Punjab state topper with securing 99.54%. Neha, who is daughter of Pawan Kumar (driver) and Jeeya Kumar (housewife) desires to become an IAS officer in near future.
This year the total passing percentage has attracted a huge difference. The total no. of students cleared the exams this year are 85.56% as compared to last year, which remained at 59.47%. It can be clearly seen that the students this year have given a good output with dedicated hard work.
Though, the students under sports category have been given a special mention. The students, who have played under state level are given 15% grace marks and the students, who have played under national level are given 25% grace marks. Total 854 students have received grace marks under sports category.
PSEB class 12th result are expected to be declared on May 15, 2019.
