Kangana Ranaut has already given two power-pack performances this year in the movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Judgementall Hai Kya. Actress is currently working on the biopic of Jayalalithaa. In addition to this, there is another big project coming in Kangana’s way and no one else seems better than her for this role.
According to a report in Hindustan times, Kangana Ranaut has been offered the lead role in the hindi remake of Tamil thriller film Aadai. The tamil version had Amala Paul in the lead role and the film was a massive success.
Aadai is a story of courageous and open minded girl Kamini (Amala Paul). She is someone who challenges herself at every point and can do anything to prove her point. During a birthday party celebration, Kamini gets left behind in an office with no dress and no Telephone.
The film next shows Kamini’s struggle to cover herself and trying to find a way out of the situation. The film is very intense and is trying to portray the meaning of ‘freedom’ in different ways.
Amala played the part very strongly and it is one of the very few ‘strong’ roles in Tamil cinema played by a women.
If we compare the character to a hindi cinema actress, Kangana is one name that comes up. She has played some big solo roles in moves like Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Simran, Queen and has made them financially successful as well.
In other part, Kangana is currently working on Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directed Panga. The film also has Rajkummar rao in lead role and we will get to see the film in January 2020.
