The episode begins with Dr. Siddhant still intoxicated, and Dr. Juhi taking control of the operation. Dr. Sid is escorted out of the operation theater. He’s still not able to regain full consciousness and sprawls down in the chair in the hallway. The commissioner’s wife accosts him and demands the reason he fell asleep.
She insults him for being careless and believes he should be fired from the job. The media rushes inside and swarm around him. They begin to ask intrusive questions, but Dr. Siddhant is not in the condition to reply. Dr. Ishani tries to shield him from the verbal attacks but is overwhelmed by the media’s force.
Dr. Juhi is able to perform the surgery successfully. Dr. Ishani is suspicious that Dr. Siddhant is intoxicated. She orders a blood test to check the level of drugs in his body. Dr. Asha confronts Dr. Ishani and blames her for Dr. Sid’s inability to concentrate properly and sleep. Dr. Asha is scared that the reports will reveal the truth but Vardhan assures that he’s going to manipulate them and forge the results.
Dr. Siddhant wakes up and immediately wants to rush to complete the operation. He’s still disoriented from the drugs. Dr. Ishani suggests rest, but he rushes out. Dr. Shashank is very angry with Dr. Sid. He expresses his disappointment and regret for trusting in him. Vardhan watches their drama from a room, and clarifies to Dr. Asha that he wants revenge from Dr. Shahshank. Dr. Asha is confused, until Vardhan reveals the truth. Dr. Shashank is Dr. Sid’s father and he’s going to use him to destroy them both.
Dr. Sid breaks down as Dr. Shashank leaves him. Dr. Ishani sees him, and is heartbroken. She comforts him.
Tomorrow: Dr. Ishani looks for proof that Dr. Sid was intoxicated.
