Small screen actress Nutan Rai was recently seen making an appearance on ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’, which was directed by Bhagwan Yadav and written by Gautam Hegde. Nutan says that her Television experience was too different than she imagined.
About this Nutan Rai said, “I thought everyone will be strict and short-tempered. However, I was made to feel comfortable on the very first day. We joked around and had quite a lot of common things to share. They were nice to me even when I would forget my lines and gave me more time to memorise. They didn’t shout or scold me at all. I felt so happy working with the whole team.”says her experience on the small screen was too much different than she has imagined.
She is based out of Singapore and her journey to the television has been quite an experience. She said, “A friend informed me about the requirement of a Singaporean Indian girl called Shanella on the show. I was keen to take it up as I had followed the show before. It was a great stepping stone. The director and crew members were surprised that though I have been living in Singapore all this while, I was able to hold a decent conversation in Hindi with them. And they also said that I did a good job as Shanella.”
