Isuzu has recently revealed the 2021 MU-X globally. The all-new SUV looks extremely striking with all the updated features that a 21st Century SUV should have. However, it will first launch in Thailand on 9th November while we expect it to arrive in India by next year.

Design-wise the all-new Isuzu MU-X now gets a pair of sleek Bi-LED projector headlamps, a new grille with chrome accent on it, revised bumper as well as a sportier front. Meanwhile, at the rear, the split LED taillights and the revised bumper looks really very innovative.

Coming to the cabin, the updated Isuzu MU-X comes with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, multi-function steering wheel, paddle shifters, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, 8-speaker surround sound system, etc. However, the touchscreen infotainment system now supports Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay. Coming to the new features that the all-new Isuzu MU-X will offer are the electric tailgate and an electronic parking brake. Other than this, the carmaker will also offer optional 20-inch alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, the safety features on the 2021 Isuzu MU-X include six airbags, a 3D imaging stereo camera (includes two radar and eight sensors) and multiple ADAS.

The revised SUV will come with two diesel engines on offer including a 3.0L as well as a 1.9L motor. The 3.0L diesel engine produces 190BHP of power and 250Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 1.9L diesel engine produces a lesser 150BHP of power with a peak torque of 350Nm.

In India, the 2021 Isuzu MU-X will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Mahindra Alturas G4 and MG Gloster.
