Design, Updates and Features

To begin with, the all-new Ducati Streetfighter V2 looks similar to its elder sibling. A 4.3-inch TFT display, LED lighting and split seats are still there to retain its practicality. However, to improve it further, the bike manufacturer has tried its best. The most prominent change on this one is the longer swingarm. Apart from this, the bikes remain more or less similar to the outgoing model.

Hardware & Safety Aids

Using a platform similar to what we see on the Panigale V2, this one sits on a 43mm Showa BPF fork upfront. At the back, the updated bike comes with an adjustable Sachs shock absorber.

Braking duties on the 2022 Streetfighter V2 are managed by twin 320mm discs (front) and a single 245mm disc (rear). Also, for improved safety, this new bike comes equipped with several aids including three ride modes, wheelie control, cornering ABS, engine brake control and traction control while being assisted by a 6-axis IMU.

Engine

At the heart, it is available with a Superquadro 955cc twin-cylinder engine. The claimed output from this unit is rated at 153HP @ 10,750 RPM and 101.4Nm @ 9,000 RPM while being paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Further, the new Streetfighter V2 also comes with a bi-directional quickshifter and slipper clutch to improve the overall experience.

Alternatives

Globally, the all-new Ducati Streetfighter V2 will go against the likes of BMW S 1000 R. Want to learn more about its prime rival? Check out all the details related to it down below.
