Gionee, the Chinese smartphone maker is all set to launch its premium mid-tier Android smartphone, the Gionee M7 Power in India in next few weeks. As the matter of fact, the device was earlier unveiled in China in the early October for the price tag of CNY 1,999 (₹19,999) only.

The smartphone offers a premium all glass unibody metal construction, which increases the overall aesthetics of the smartphone. The company has been touting about this smartphone on its official social media handle using Taj Mahal image in the background with the hashtag #MPowerwith Gionee. However, there is no clue regarding the launch date, probably, the company should launch this device before the end of the November. The device also offers a fingerprint scanner on the back, which can unlock the smartphone in just a fraction of a second.

Here are the complete set of specifications for the upcoming Gionee M7 Power. The Gionee M7 power is in line with the other mid-tier Android smartphones of late 2017. To begin with, the device offers the new standard 18:9 aspect ratio display with HD+ resolution, protected by 2.5D Curved tempered glass on the top. The screen measures 6.0-inch with 720×1440 pixels. The device is powered by the Qualcomm’s most used entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Octa-core SoC, paired with 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (which can accept SD card up to 256 GB).

On to the optics, the device offers a standard 13 MP rear-facing camera with PDAF and 1080p video recording capability. For the selfie users, the device offers an 8 MP fixed focus shooter with 720p video recording capability. So, you can expect decent photographs on both the front and the rear camera setup. If you are concerned about the connectivity, the device will offer Android Nougat 7.1 with custom UI on the top (Amigo OS 5.0). Don’t expect this device to receive Nougat update, as most of their smartphones haven’t received the updates.

In terms of connectivity, the device will support dual SIM cards with 4G LTE and VoLte support on both the slots with additional features like WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, and Bluetooth 4.2. So, basically, all the standard connectivity features are in line with this device. Coming to the battery capability, the device offers a massive 5000 mAh Li-ion battery with normal charging capability. The device does incorporate some sort of fast charging technique, which should reduce the overall charging time.
