Micromax India is all set to launch a flagship class premium Android smartphone in India. The Micromax Canvas Infinity has some of the interesting features and device is on par with the other mid-tier Android smartphones. This smartphone is expected to be priced at ₹15,000 with the following set of specifications.

In terms of design and build quality, the device offers a full metal unibody design with plastic top and bottom antenna bands (just like the most Android smartphones). So, let’s look at the actual tech specifications of the smartphone.

The device is expected to offer a short bezel design with all new 18:9 cinematic aspect ratio display, protected by 2.5D curved glass on the top. However, the device is likely to use an HD+ panel instead of the FHD+. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Quad-core SoC, paired with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 128 GB).

In terms of camera capability, the device is most likely to offer a dual front-facing selfie camera with a 16 MP wide angle lens and a 2 MP depth sensing sensor. For the primitive photography, the device is likely to sponsor a 13 MP shooter with PDAF and 720p video recording capability.

In terms of connectivity, the device is likely to offer a dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte capability with support for WiFi, WiFi Hotspot and Bluetooth 4.2 out of the box. The Micromax Canvas Infinity is expected to run on Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top and expected to receive Oreo update in the near future. Finally, coming to the final aspect the smartphone is expected to include a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery with normal charging capability.

To summarise, the reasons to consider this smartphone would be the front-facing selfie camera and the edge to edge 18:9 cinematic display, other than these two things this is just an everyday entry-level Android smartphone.
