On Wednesday, director Shoojit Sircar wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming movie title ‘October‘. The movie which was set in Delhi and it is based on the slice of the life love story. The movie features Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu in the lead role.
However, the team has finished the last day of the shoot in Manali and the director of the movie Shoojit Sircar says that the whole cast and crew of the team will celebrate it with a small party. He confirmed that yes there will be a party because he says that it is really cold in Manali and they are having an early morning flight to catch. The whole team of the movie is very happy and they have even relieved that they have finished the shoot before time.
The director Shoojit Sircar is very well known for his movies like ‘Vicky Donor’, ‘Piku’, ‘Pink’ and moreover, he says that his upcoming movie ‘October’ will be exploring the different side of Delhi. He says that he finds a lot of character in Delhi and he is familiar with the Delhi city really well and with the people too. He says that it is really very comforting to return to Delhi and in his upcoming movie he will be exploring the romantic side of the city this time.
This is the very first time when the actor Varun Dhawan will be seen working along with the director Shoojit Sircar and the director praised the actor by saying that he thinks that Varun is very bright and with each day he is trying to open up to different genres. An actor should be the one who keeps on exploring the different genres, stories, and director. Because he feels that at the end of the day the one has to challenge himself.
Shoojit says that he decided to cast the actress Banita after directing her in one of her most commercials. It all happened with the ad that turned out to be a really good and they have found that the character they are looking for she is having all those qualities in her.
The movie ‘October’ will be releasing on April 13 next year via their company Rising sun films. The movie will be produced by Ronnie Lahiri. However, the producer of the movie, Ronnie says that there is not much gay between the shooting and the release as they did not want the movie to delay the release as they are having a good movie in their hands and now there is no point in waiting.
He said that they have finished shooting of the movie in just 38 days and they are already ahead of the schedule. They are very happy they have chosen the actor Varun Dhawan he sets a great atmosphere on the set. He says that it was never packed and to his room for Varun. He would usually hang out with the crew of the team.
