After releasing the worldwide super hit movie “Black Panther” on February 16th, Marvel is ready to break records again with its latest film “Avengers: Infinity War”. Infinity War is scheduled for worldwide release on 27th May, 2018 and has already broken the record for the film with the second highest budget ever. The movies belonging to the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been breaking records since their inception with ‘Iron Man’ a decade ago, and Infinity War is expected to do the same.
Jon Favreau’s adaptation of Walt Disney’s ‘The Jungle Book’ has maintained its position as the highest grossing Hollywood film in India since its release in 2016, and no other film has since come close to acquiring its trophy of Rs. 184 Crore earnings. However, its rival is expected to emerge on the 27th of May, 2018.
Avengers: Infinity War, whose trailer on YouTube itself has amassed over 172 million views, is predicted to break the record within a week of its release.
However, all this farsightedness is yet to be approved by the Indian Box Office. All of Marvel’s secrets and its future records will be revealed this Friday in movie theatres all across India.
