Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. is rapidly expanding its BS6 lineup in India. Earlier, the British brand introduced Trident 660 with a starting price tag of Rs.6.95 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). For this much money, customers were offered a powerful middleweight roadster and to be precise, a 660cc three-cylinder petrol engine did perform its duties well.

BS6 Triumph Bonneville Bobber

The design of the 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber features multiple blacked-out elements. For instance, the engine cover now gets a similar treatment. Surprisingly, the British brand has introduced three new colour shades for the updated bike. And just for your information, the palette now consists of two monotone colour schemes including Cordovan Red and Classic Jet Black. Meanwhile, there is a dual-tone paint called Matt Storm Grey with Matt Ironstone.

Feature-wise, the updated Bonneville Bobber will be available with a new LED lighting setup, wide handlebar, adjustable footpegs and wing mirrors according to the requirement of the owner. Surprisingly, even the fuel tank has been revised and now it comes with a capacity of 12-litres. For enhanced safety of the rider, Triumph will continue to offer ABS and traction control as standard.

At the heart, the all-new Bonneville Bobber gets an updated BS6 compliant 1200cc twin-cylinder engine. To put the entire thing in figures, this motor is truly capable of churning out a massive 77BHP of power @ 6,100 RPM and 106Nm of torque @ 5,500 RPM.

Interestingly, it is also expected to return a better mileage with two different ride modes on offer. To be precise, these modes include – Rain and Road.

PriceĀ 

Customers who wish to own the all-new Bonneville Bobber will have to pay Rs.11.75 Lakhs for the Classic Jet Black model. The company has currently priced the mid-spec Cordovan Red variant at Rs.11.88 Lakhs. Also, there is the top-end variant with a dual-tone colour scheme priced at Rs.12.05 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, India).

Alternatives

With such a massive budget, customer can also own the Triumph Tiger 850 Sport (Rs.11.95 Lakh onwards*), Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX (Rs.11.29 Lakh onwards*) and Kawasaki Versys 1000 (Rs.11.44 Lakh onwards*). The company has recently launched the all-new bike and to be precise, it comes powered by an 888cc inline three-cylinder engine.
