Tata Motors has recently introduced an all-new variant for the Tata Tiago. Celebrating the first year anniversary of the updated Tiago, the company has launched this feature-loaded variant with a price tag of Rs.5.79 Lakh onwards. This way it is Rs.29,000 costlier when compared to the XT variant while packing tons of added features.

Based on the XT variant the limited edition hatchback will be available with three colors on offer. The list includes Daytona Grey, Pearlescent White and Flame Red. Apart from the color schemes, it comes equipped with a new set of 14-inch alloy wheels finished in black, a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry, power windows, voice command, reverse parking sensors, etc. among others. Further, the infotainment system on the Tata Tiago limited edition comes with a 3D navigation. Tata Tiago has scored a four-star rating at the Global NCAP. However, for added safety, the company offers dual airbags at the front and rear park assist as standard safety aids.

Under the hood, it comes with a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that is capable of churning out 86HP and Nm of torque. Further, it comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Whereas, customers can also opt for an automatic transmission on the top-spec variants. The limited-edition Tata Tiago will be only available with a manual transmission only.

In India, Tata Tiago competes against the likes of Hyundai Santro, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R and Maruti Suzuki Celerio among others. According to sources, Tata is also planning to introduce a C-segment sedan in India. Apart from this, Tata Nexon EV is about to cross the 3000 unit sales mark.
