Realty major DLF is targeting a 10 per cent climb in sales bookings in the current fiscal year at Rs 27,000 crore, looking forward to see a surge in housing demands.

During an analyst presentation, DLF said, “Targeting sales of Rs 2,700 crore in 2019-20 which is a 10 per cent increase over 2018-19.”

In FY18-19, the sales bookings of the company doubled to Rs 2,435 crore against previous year’s record of Rs 1,000 crore.

DLF, further indicated that the company would continue to see good sales in the residential segment. They have started monetising their ready to occupy inventory across the country in the premium and luxury segments.

A week ago, DLF gained 76 per cent in consolidated net profit to Rs 436.56 for March quarter from Rs 247.73 crore in an year ago.

Overall, DLF’s total income rose to Rs 9,029.41 crore in the last fiscal from Rs 7,663.71 crore in 2017-18 and the company has an unsold inventory of around Rs 11,650 crore.
