In the second week of November, six of the ten most valuable firms contributed a total of Rs 1,18,383.07 crore to their market capitalization, with Reliance Industries Limited contributing the most.

The 30-share BSE benchmark has gained 619.07 points, or 1.03 percent, in the last week.

Reliance Industries Limited, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, HDFC, Bajaj Finance and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the top gainers, whereas HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever Limited, ICICI Bank and State Bank of India unperformed relative to its benchmark. 

Reliance Industries Limited added  ₹59,437.12 crore to its valuation to reach ₹16,44,511.70 crore.

Infosys zoomed to ₹29,690.9 crore to reach a market cap of ₹7,48,580.98 crore. HDFC market cap added ₹17,187 crore to settle at ₹5,41,557.77 crore and Tata Consultancy Services brought in ₹5,715.04 crore to its market cap, reaching ₹13,03,730.66 crore.

The market capitalization of Kotak Mahindra Bank was up by ₹3,301.84 crore , marking a valuation of ₹4,11,183.32 crore and Bajaj Finance inched up by ₹3,051.17 crore to ₹4,57,355.51 crore.

Where the above-mentioned companies added some capital to their valuation, the valuation of HDFC Bank Ltd got jolted by ₹22,545.39 crore to come down to ₹8,60,436.44 crore. State Bank of India’s market valuation plummeted  ₹17,135.26 crore to ₹4,56,270.76 crore.

The valuation of Hindustan Unilever Limited sank by ₹3,912.07 crore to reach ₹5,65,546.62 crore and ICICI Bank got a jerk of ₹3,810.99 crore to ₹5,39,016.40 crore.

Reliance Industries Limited led the ranking chart of the top gainers. Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever Limited, HDFC, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, State Bank of India and Kotak Mahindra Bank were on the leaderboard in the sequential order.
