Supermarket chain DMart, operated by Avenue Supermarts Ltd, has unveiled a new store in BPTP Parklands, Faridabad, Haryana. The much-anticipated store has been built on a 1.57-acre plot land with a total build-up area of around 94,000 sq. ft, comprising of three floors. The first store being in Ghaziabad, this would be the second DMart store in NCR.

Amit Raj Jain, Head of Sales at BPTP Ltd stated that “A modern one-stop supermarket offering good products at great value was needed in the newly-developed Faridabad Neharpar, and this DMart store will surely meet the requirement of the residents who were waiting for the latest amenities.”

DMart has already established itself as a successful brand in the shopping arena. The chain happens to sell quite a range of products, including home appliances, toiletries, food, beauty products, garments, kitchenware and much more. The products are usually priced at competitive rates, luring in more customers.

Founded by Radhakishan Damani and family in 2002, DMart currently has stores located across 11 states and union territories. The supermarket chain is a well-known name already in states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Rajasthan. DMart was listed on the stock market in 2017, and it started off at a premium of 102%. Its shares have climbed close to 100% in the last one year.
