The Indian Institute of management (IIM) Amritsar has introduced a new executive MBA program by Online Mode of learning. This program is also being called as E-MBA course. This program has been especially designed for working professionals with experience of 3 to 20 years.

This will be an Two-year program conducted by non-residential online hybrid mode. The first batch of EMBA has began from June 5. The Inauguration ceremony was organised by the institute by virtual conference attended by the newly joined learners and IIM faculties along with other officials.

The first batch of this program consists of 40 students who have been already working professionally with recognised companies and organisations in various sectors like management, hospitality, administration, consultation, Information technology and many others.

The program has been launched with an aim to mentor and groom professionals of the managing sectors in order to make them conquer over the challenges of modern business dynamics. The training within this program will make the candidates more beneficial for their current organisations.

The enrolled students has appreciated IIT’s move on introduction of EMBA program with prioritising the safety. The students also mentioned about another advantage of this programme which is that the online class lectures and discussions are being recorded for future references and study.

Professor Sanjay Gupta, the Chairperson of IIM Amritsar in the inauguration ceremony remarked the EMBA programme to be slightly difficult for the learners as it would consume the essential working hours of professionals which they use to serve for their organisation in usual days.

He further advised the students to create a ideal balance between their academics, professional life and personal life. The students must ensure to give enough time to all of this components as each of them has a unique importance. Out of all this, one must also spend some quality time with their families as well.
