Private Engineering institutes of india are planning to offer admissions in BTech courses right after Class 10 and extending the programme to six years long curriculum. Institutes claim to offer a lifetime deal for students who have recently qualified in Class 10 exams.

BTech Engineering courses are India’s one of the most popular and pursued professional programme for bachelor’s degree. Private institutes are now changing its basic structure to offer freedom from all the competitive exams for the students opting career in engineering field.

This year, Most of the states and the centre has cancelled Class 10 board exams. Thus engineering institute has started accepting admissions to this courses on the basis of Class 9 scores. This has made it easier for the institutes to attract students.

The Admission to 4 year BTech programmes are conventionally based on the Class 12 scores and rank in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) or State Common Entrance Test (CET). Students has to  qualify in any of this entrance exam for getting into any college which is a long process.

The newly changed programmes will be of either three-plus-three or four-plus-two structure. All Seats for this courses in several universities are already equipped. The reason simply seems to be the assurance of getting into an professional degree college and graduating quickly.

The students are able to avoid the hassles of qualifying in Class 12 exams, then appearing for entrance exams and then getting a college after several attempts. Students are able to skip all this steps. However, private institutes are charging a heavy amount for fees and admission charges.

The institutes have prepared their own curriculum for this courses rather then following the one issued by states. The colleges would offer a diploma after completion of 3 years and a BTech bachelor’s degree after 6 years. All this 6 years, students are only exposed to technical education which makes them a better engineer.
