At last, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has put up the admit cards for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination for the year on its official website at ssc.nic.in. To download the admit card, the candidates who have applied must visit the official website.
The exam will be conducted from August 5 to August 24 this year. It will comprise of 25 questions on general intelligence, reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English comprehension. August 7, 13, 14 and 15 are going to be exempted from examination.
To download the SSC CGL admit card 2017, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to SSC’s official regional website
Step 2: Click on the “Admit Card” tab on the top of the page. The click will open a pop-up.
Step 3: Now, click on your respective SSC region’s regional link.
Step 4: Now, the regional website will open. Next, click on “Click here to download your SSC CGL admit card”.
Step 5: Now you will be redirected to to a new page. Here, you will be required to fill up your necessary details like roll number or registration number etc. in the respective fields and submit.
Step 6: Now, your admit card will display. download and take a printout of it.
Along with the admit cards, the commission has also released a notice which lays out a list of prohibited items on the day of the exam. The list includes:
– Books, magazines or any reading material.
– Gadgets like mobile phones, cameras and Bluetooth devices
The SSC notice said , “Such candidates would not be allowed to take the examination apart from being debarred in all future examinations without prejudice to other disciplinary and criminal proceedings by the commission.” Furthermore, it said, the commission, center supervisor (principal) or any other person conducting the examination will not be held responsible if such items get lost at the exam venue.
Only a week is left to the SSC CGL examination and hence, candidates are suggested to practice online mock tests as then will give their speed a boost, and help them prepare in a better form. Analyze your attempt at the mock test and record your scores in all subjects separately. Spotting the loopholes in your approach, work and be well prepared for the main examination.
