Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar says that he does not mind that whom he offends because he feels that this is not the stone age. Currently, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for his upcoming movie titled ‘Padman‘, which is directed by R Balki. The movie features Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles. In the movie, Amitabh Bachchan will appear in a special role. The movie will be produced by Twinkle Khanna‘s newly formed production house Mrs. Funnybones Movies.
The movie ‘Padman’ is inspired by the social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham and the movie is based on the real incident. In the upcoming movie, both Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna will reunite but not as a co-star but they will be seen together as an actor and as a producer respectively.
In his upcoming movie, Akshay Kumar will be tackling the issue on the topic of a menstrual hygiene and he hopes that his movie will help in creating the awareness about the menstrual health in the country. With his upcoming movie, he just wants to break the taboo which is associated with it. In the recent chat show, the couple speaks about their upcoming movie. They both said that they are breaking the social taboo and he is very happy that he is working along with his wife Twinkle Khanna.

When asked the actor that what made him do the movie on such a subject which has never been talked about in the Hindi cinema before? On this Akshay says that if you will change nothing then nothing will change. He even said that it is not about being bold but it is more about breaking the taboo that is holding us back and he feels that it is more about the education.
He says that throughout his life he has been lived with women and he has learned more making this movie than he has ever known after being surrounded by women in his own family. He just does not mind that whom he is offending or whose stomach he may turn by being so bold publicly. He says that it is not the stone age and he believes that menstruation is very natural.
In the movie, they will be spreading the awareness related to the menstruation and menstrual health. After then he can say that he has succeeded in his task and the movie is just not about the menstruation. The movie will also be focusing on the story of an extraordinary human being and he will push himself against his own limitations to go from an illiterate man to an innovator and inventor.
Even his upcoming movie Padman drops into the list of his films which has a social message. He is very well known for creating a new genre of entertainment with a message. When asked the actor that the decision which he has made was a conscious decision? Akshay says that he believes that his decision was conscious.
