The Terminator, aka Arnold Schwarzenegger, has conquered Hollywood and the realm of Bodybuilding. He is a former governor, who has one area left unexplored, which he is going to explore soon now. Arnie is staring in an adventure spy series soon from Skydance Television as per Deadline.
Nick Santora, creator of Scorpion is creating the series, with Arnold also executively producing the show besides starring in it. The series is going to be a global spy adventure series, with a father and daughter’s story as its center.
In 2015, Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared in a one-off episode of the popular sitcom, Two and a Half Men. It marked his first television appearance. This will be his full-fledged TV debut.
As a part of a deal between Skydance Television and Santora, he’ll not only create the series but also take part as an executive producer. Skydance’s upcoming Jack Reacher series on Amazon Prime also sees Nick as an executive producer/showrunner.
Further, Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost are the other executive producers of the show. To ensure that the project becomes successful, Carolyn Harris will oversee it for the company.
This is not the first time that Arnold and Skydance are working together. Together they had earlier worked on Terminator films, Genisys (2015) and Dark Fate (2019). Both these films saw Arnie reprising his iconic role of T-800.
Which streamer, will the show come on, will be decided soon when the studio goes and pitches each one of them.
For now, we can safely say that Arnold will be back, and this time he’ll surely be back with a bang.
