Ayushmann Khurrana is now a days a busy bee with the promotions of her upcoming comedy film ‘Bala’.

He recently visited Varanasi and went to the ganga aarti at the ghats for the blessing’s for his new release.

The actor spent some time doing the rituals and also did a musical jamming with a guitar in one of the oldest cities of the world.

Ayushmann will be seen playing the role of a bald man in the comedy film ‘Bala’ directed by Amar Kaushik and co-starring Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam.

It follows the story of a man suffering from premature baldness and the embarrassment he faces in the society because of it.

Talking about the theme of the film, Ayushmann had said: “The film is not about baldness, its about self-love. So you discover that when you watch the film.”

The makers had recently released a romantic track title “Pyaar Toh Tha” which has become popular with over 16 million views on YouTube.

Ayushmann’s last outing was the comedy drama ‘Dream Girl’ where he played a cross gender actor.

The film, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, met with mostly positive reviews and proved to be a major commercial success.

He will be also seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Gulaabo Sitabo’, where he will share the screen space for the first time with Amitabh Bachchan.

Ayushmann has also started filming for ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan’, which is a stand alone sequel to ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhaan.’
