The Indian television and film actor Barun Sobti started his acting career with the Star Plus show titled “Shraddha”. He got his first lead role as Shravan Jaiswal in the television show titled “Baat Hamari Pakki Hai” opposite Ankita Sharma. He rose the popularity from his role of Arnav Singh Raizaida in the 2011 drama series “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon”, where he played the role of a business tycoon. Later, he appeared in the 2017 web series “Tanhaiyan” opposite Surbhi Jyoti. He made his Bollywood debut with the 2014 film titled “Main Aur Mr. Riight”. Then in 2015, he acted in the movie titled “Dry Dreams”, a short film, which was on a water conversation. Currently, he is leading the third installment of the television series Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon franchise, opposite Shivani Tomar.
Now, the actor is making a return to the Big screen as well with his upcoming movie titled “Tu Hai Mera Sunday“. Yesterday, Bollywood Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the poster for the upcoming movie on his Twitter account. The movie “Tu Hai Mera Sunday” features Barun Sobti, Shahana Goswami, Vishal Malhotra, Manvi Gagroo, Rasika Dugal, Vishal Malhotra, Avinash Tiwary, Jay Upadhyay, Shivkumar Subramaniam and Nakul Bhalla in the film. Last year the film received a great response at MAMI. The movie which revolves around a story of 5 friends hunting for space in Mumbai to play their favourite sport, football. The cast of the movie is very different and it gives us the indie vibes.
