Jr. Bachchan is back in a new avatar to startle his fans once again. The teaser of his upcoming film Dasvi looks quite promising as the actor unveils the promo video on social media. The teaser features Abhishek Bachchan talking in Haryanvi accent telling his fellow jail mates to keep quiet as he is preparing for the class 10th examination.

Abhishek Bachchan shares the promo video of his upcoming film Dasvi on his social media handle. Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur will feature in the film alongside Jr. Bachchan. The film is slated to release on April 7 exclusively on Netflix.
As Jr. Bachchan shared the teaser, fans showered the comment section with praises. Amitabh Bachchan also reacted to the teaser, and commented, “Supeeeerrrrrbbbb,” along with a clapping hands emoji.

Helmed by Tushar Jalota, the film features Abhishek Bachchan as Ganga Ram Chaudhary who decides to appear for his 10th Boards while being in a prison. The teaser shows Jr. Bachchan clad in a blue kurta with a salt-and-pepper beard, he asks his fellow inmates to stop making noise, as he is about to prepare for his class 10th examination. He quotes, “Jail se dasvi karna is mhara right to education!”
While Yami Gautam will portray the character of an IPS officer, Nimrat Kaur will be essaying the role of a politician in Dasvi. Produced by Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan, Dasvi is set to premiere on April 7 on Netflix.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan has a new project pipelined. He will be seen in the Hindi remake of the Tamil thriller movie Oththa Seruppu Size 7, in which he will essay the role of an emotionally unstable murder suspect. Jr. Bachchan was last seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Bob Biswas streaming on Zee5.
