The Bollywood leading lady Deepika Padukone has given a nod to directors Rohit Shetty and Farah Khan for their joint venture.

Prior this year, Rohit Shetty and Farah Khan reported that they are collaborating for a major Bollywood performer. Recently news came that after Hrithik Roshan, Deepika join hands with the duo directors.

The upcoming movie is an official remake of the clique great Satte Pe Satta that featured Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in lead roles.

A source close to makers revealed “Both Farah and Rohit wanted Deepika Padukone in the movie because not only do they love her but she fits the role to the T. When DP debuted, everyone felt she had an uncanny resemblance to Hema ji in terms of her beauty as well. When Farah narrated the story to DP, she loved it and instantly gave her nod.”

Not revealing much detail about the movie, the name of the lead actors are out. The lead role players are for the first time sharing the silver screen, stepping into shoes of iconic actors. This is Deepika’s second collaboration with Rohit Shetty and third time with Farah Khan.
