Justice League beats new Hindi releases at box office!

Justice League(2017) had an underwhelming time at the box office and critics teared it apart. Fans felt that the studio altered director, Zack Snyder’s vision. They immediately started a campaign “Release the Snyder cut” on social media after the film’s release. After 3 years, Warner Bros. Pictures are finally ready to release the director’s cut version of the film.

Chairman of Warner Media Entertainment, Robert Greenblatt said in a statement Since I got here 14 months ago, the chant to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut has been a daily drumbeat in our offices and inboxes. Well, the fans have asked, and we are thrilled to finally deliver.”

Snyder himself took to Twitter to confirm the news. He was replaced in the post production of the film by Joss Whedon after the death of his 20 year old daughter.

Whedon was credited as a co-writer and did several reshoots of the film. Though even he was unable to save it from being a debacle. Many fans thought that Snyder would have made the film much better.

Zack is elated after finally getting a chance to show his cut to the audience. In a statement he said “I want to thank HBO Max and Warner Brothers for this brave gesture of supporting artists and allowing their true visions to be realized,” Snyder said in a statement. “Also a special thank you to all of those involved in the SnyderCut movement for making this a reality.”

Let’s see how the new cut will fare with fans in 2021.
